Our mission of the Hackathon is to train more developers to become OpenSocial builders,consultants and experts. OpenSocial APIs offer developers a unique position to build business and professional type social networking applications in OpenSocial-enabled
Project objectives
The OpenSocial Hackathon project will meet the following objectives:
- Train developers to become OpenSocial builders
- Contribute by identifying how to improve OpenSocial
- Build a practical Open Social application enabling developers to earn and be awarded continuing education credits with SVWB (and who knows, many be it really takes off)

- Hackathon I – Learning: Overview / tutorial / building / Q&A – assignments
- Hackathon II – Integration: Recap / assignments / problem solving
- Hackathon III – Release: Bring it all together / demo / closing
